รุ่นนี้ใช้ตลับหมึกแบบที่มีหัวพิมพ์ คล้ายๆกับ MP145 แต่เปลี่ยนเป็นเบอร์ 810 (ดำ) และ 811 (สี) ตัวที่มากับเครื่อง(Included) คือเบอร์นี้เลย เห็นประจักษ์ว่าฟองน้ำด้านในคงมีแค่ครึ่งเดียว เหมือนกับเบอร์ 830 และ 831 ของรุ่น MP145 ส่วนตลับที่จะซื้อใหม่ (Optional) คือ 810XL และ 811XL
Canon MP258 รุ่นใหม่นี้ค่อนข้างจะ ออกแบบมาอย่างมิดชิด เล่นเอาติดเครื่องแรกซะพรุนเลยครับ แต่ก็ใช้ได้ดีมาก ไม่แพ้ Mp145 เลย
Great printer for home use. Excellent quality of cardstock and photo printing. Prints till A4 size along with page sizes below A4. Colour n B/W prints are crisp sharp. Sharp enough to cause you to show off to people. Although doesn’t have Wi-fi on-line, its great for property use. Printer has a distinct button for self preservation if required. Has indicators if the actual ink level’s below adequate. Photo prints have great quality. Colour prints are conspicuous and B/W prints possess a perfect Dark Black color. Dedicated colour and B/W xerox buttons on the printer for quick burning. Cartridges are expensive but initial lower investment with purchasing the machine covers for it.
